Romans 10:17
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
As Christians, we all know that our faith in Jesus is the way to salvation and to God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). We must also realize that faith is a gift from God through His grace, not something we created. So, how does God place faith in us? In this passage, Paul gives us the answer - Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Through His Words, God plants faith inside us. As we can see, Paul did not just stop at "faith comes from hearing," but he continued with another "hearing" word to further emphasize what he meant. However, we should never underestimate the power of God's word; hearing it once does not automatically lead to faith. Faith and the growth of our faith are the result of hearing and hearing. So today, take some time to dive into God’s word. Pick a scripture and examine it with fresh eyes and an open heart. Really think about what God is saying to you and how you can apply it. Faith comes as you hear God’s word over and over again!
Proverbs 30:5

Psalms 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Psalms 119:130
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
