Psalms 103:5
Psalms 103:5
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
In this verse, David praises the Lord for satisfying the believer with good things. Unlike wealth and material possessions, only the Lord and His blessings constitute something truly valuable. Also, this verse credits the Lord with giving the believer the strength and energy of an eagle as a means of renewing their lives. No matter the age of the believer, he or she will find strength and vitality to carry out the Lord's plan. The result of God's perfect forgiveness for a man or woman is redemption, healing, comfort, provision, satisfaction, and goodness. While sickness and death may affect the body, they do not affect the soul. As a result of being saved, a new life was opened up to us, as we were made a new creation in Christ. Day by day, our newly born-again lives are being transformed into His image and likeness. As we walk in spirit and truth and abide in Christ, our inner man is growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Eventually, we will be able to change our natural bodies into a glorious and eternal body that resembles His.
