As Day 2 of our journey concludes, reflect on the depth of this evening's verse. This morning's inspiration is still available for those who missed it.
Have you ever received a valuable gift from someone and wondered why that person made such a huge investment or sacrifice to make you happy or meet your needs? Well, no matter how precious such a gift is or its value, it can never be compared to the gift God gave you and humanity.
It is easy for a wealthy person to give you a fragment of his wealth. It might be worth the world to you, but it may mean nothing to them because what's left is enormous. However, it takes great sacrifice and genuine love for a person to give you their last coin.
This is the kind of gift God has given to you. God gave His only Son, Jesus, as an ultimate sacrifice for your sin so that by His death on the Cross, you may receive eternal life and freedom from the yoke of death. This gift is indescribable. As beautiful and precious as this gift is, you have the choice to receive or reject it. However, whatever action you take has consequences.
Receiving Jesus, the unspeakable gift, not only saves you from eternal perdition but opens the windows of the heavens for God's blessings to be poured out on you. On the other hand, rejecting Him means signing up for everlasting condemnation.
As we express gratitude for the unspeakable gift of God, let's ensure we receive it not just with words but with open hearts. The journey of faith is a continuous unwrapping of divine blessings.
Join us on this ongoing exploration of inspiration and prayers, where we delve deeper into the riches of God's love this holiday season. Your seat at this virtual table of faith is always reserved, and we can't wait to share more moments of spiritual enrichment with you. Until next time, may your heart be filled with the anticipation of what God has in store for our continued journey together. Now, let us pray.
