Romans 6:6
Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
If you've moved around, you know the struggle of deciding what to keep and what to throw away. The most difficult part of starting a new chapter of one's life isn't embracing what is new but deciding what to do with the old things that we have. When it comes to God, there are no hesitations or blurred boundaries. When God sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, the price was paid in full for us all. His finished work on the Cross fulfilled all the righteous requirements of the law on our behalf, releasing us from the power of sin. He doesn't just save us from one area of our lives and leave us enslaved to sin in another. Our old self has been crucified with Him, and we have been created brand-new in Jesus Christ from the inside out. What an amazing piece of news that we are no longer enslaved to sin! If you feel trapped by your sins, you are not hopeless. Because of what Jesus Christ has done for us, the body of sin can be brought to nothing. Believe that you have been given the power of His Spirit to live a holy, righteous life that honors the Lord! Nothing can hold you back!
James 4:4

Hebrews 1:6
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Proverbs 24:9
The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
