Psalms 34:3
Psalms 34:3
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Throughout this exhilarating verse, David appeals to his men or the congregation of Israel to join him in praising God and exalting His name. Our hearts should be filled with worship and praise from morning to night, as the Lord our God is with us no matter what season or situation life may throw at us. It is the watchword of every Christian, both personally and corporately, to express reverence and gratitude. God has no partiality, and neither should we have any either, for regardless of whether we are Jews or Gentiles, men or women, young or old, bond or free, the Lord alone deserves all of our praise and worship, and all those who are called by His name should continually pray and be jolly in their praise and worship of Him. It shall be every man's desire to join their voices together in jubilant praise and worship of our Lord after He has saved our souls. The blood of the Lamb has redeemed us and made us a new creation in Christ. The saved saints should not simply wish to worship in isolation in their own hearts but are expected to desire to rejoice together with others in spirit and truth who have, in a similar manner, been rescued from destruction and securely joined to God's family.
Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Psalms 145:1
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Psalms 145:3
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
1 Chronicles 16:23
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
