Psalms 146:8
Psalms 146:8
The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
Have you ever reached a time in your life when you just know that you need healing from God? Sometimes we go through things in our lives that hurt us and that hurt may travel with us for months, years, and even decades. Sometimes the hurt is physical in the form of illness or disease. Sometimes the hurt is emotional or mental. Regardless of the situation, God is the healer of all. This verse in Psalms truly highlights the healing nature of our Lord. He not only heals physical wounds as He gives sight to the blind, but He also spiritually raises those who are bowed down. Do you feel bowed down today? Seek the Lord who raises the bowed. As you go through your life and your walk with God, remember that He is a mighty healer according to His will. If you need healing, pray to Him and talk to Him about the pain that you are experiencing. Ask Him to heal you in faith, but also be open to Him withholding His healing from you. Remember that God’s timing and will are much better than ours. Trust Him as you seek His healing.
Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Matthew 14:14
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
John 11:4
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God.
