Psalms 34:17
Psalms 34:17
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The difference between the cry of the righteous and the cry of the unrighteous is that one is noise to God’s ears, while the other is like a sweet-smelling savor that attracts God’s attention. If you have asked God for something and it seems He is not doing anything, it’s time for you to do a deep introspection. Put your life in an x-ray and examine it to know if you are involved in sinful activities or living righteously. God’s Word in Isaiah 59:1-2 says, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” God is interested in saving you from your troubles, but His eyes are too pure to behold iniquity. Also, He cannot dwell where sin is because He is too holy (Habakkuk 1:13). Therefore, you must first allow the precious blood of Jesus to cleanse you and make you holy. Then, God will draw near you, commune with you, and help you fix your problems. Are you struggling with unanswered prayers, and it seems God does not care about you? Why not consider your ways and choose to live a holy life?
Psalms 37:3
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Psalms 145:17
The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
