Have you ever felt like you were at the end of your rope and you just couldn’t hold on any longer? Have you ever felt like you needed to cry out to God but just didn’t know what to say or pray? The amazing news we learn from this verse is that if you have the Holy Spirit in you, He intercedes for you on your behalf. Even when you are at your weakest point, He is there praying for you to God the Father. Even though we do not pray as we are supposed to, He prays on our behalf, even in the darkest of storms.
This is a groundbreaking truth because God Himself not only wants to have a relationship with you and me but also sends the Holy Spirit to live inside us to help us when we are weak. When we are weak, He is strong. When we don’t know what to say, He says exactly what we need on our behalf.
How amazing is this God we serve? Take some time to think about your relationship with Him and thank Him for sending His Holy Spirit into us to be the temple of His presence today.
