Psalms 9:10
Psalms 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
It is important to note that God is always with His people, not only when everything is going smoothly for them. Unlike an indifferent engineer, the Lord is concerned about what happens to the world. It is His nature to be transcendent and mindful of the needs and desires of His people. Because of this, those who know His name place their trust in Him. Their suffering is acknowledged by God, who not only knows but also cares for them. Together, we form the Church of God, but each of us is a member of the spiritual Body of Christ. Our lives are like many living stones being woven into one grand, spiritual house where God's Holy Spirit dwells. As Christians, we are blessed to know Christ's name and to enjoy intimacy with the One who died on the cross for us. As righteous as the Lord our God is, He will deal justly with all unrighteousness, whether it is in a sinning sinner or in a saved individual. Surely, the Lord is holy, and He will deal fairly with sins in every area of our lives since He is a fair judge and a righteous God who will not tolerate sin. We can, however, have assurance that we, who have been bought with the blood of Christ, will never be abandoned or condemned by God.
Psalms 7:1
(Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.) O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
Psalms 62:8
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Psalm 56:11
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
