Luke 8:11
Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
When we talk about the power to reproduce, the system God has put in place for this is a seed. A seed is one of the most powerful embodiments of possibilities God made. In a seed is the potential to have another of its kind. In our verse, Jesus calls the word of God the seed. That’s a powerful revelation to think about. But what is the value of this statement? If we deal with just one dimension out of many, this means that Jesus can be replicated in us. How? By ingesting the word or by planting it in us in a manner of speaking. The more of God’s word you have in you, the more of Jesus is being planted in you. The more of Jesus in you is directly proportional to the more of God that resides in you. And we know who God is. He is the limitless, powerful, timeless being who has made all things and sustains them by the word of His power. Where God is present, there is so much life that death cannot coexist. Where God is, there is an increase in abundance. Where God is, darkness cannot comprehend the light. This is the ultimate reality of dominion. The word of God is God, and when we have the word living in us, we have God living and moving through us.
Psalms 119:130
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
