Bebe's interpretation
This verse focuses on our personal relationship with God. Those who trust in Christ are reconciled to God by His death, despite the fact that they were enemies of God as a result of their sins. Christ's death for our sins enabled us to enter into a real and personal relationship, which was impossible without him. As a result, God considers us to be His beloved children.
Upon the Cross of Calvary, Christ's blood freed us from the indignation and wrath of God that was poured out on Him in our place. As sinners, we were delivered from our just punishment not because of our goodness but because Christ died for us while we were still enemies of God and dead in our trespasses and sins.
We were made righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ while we were still enemies of God and guilty of sinful rebellion. As we have been given eternal life by grace through faith in Him, how much more certain can we be that through Christ's resurrection, we will be delivered every day from the dominion of sin in our lives?
