Isaiah 41:10
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
In the midst of the night this week, a massive container ship collided with the iconic Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, causing its collapse into the frigid waters below. The ship, traveling at 9 mph, lost power while navigating the channel, leading to the tragic incident. Several construction workers repairing potholes on the bridge were missing, prompting extensive search-and-rescue efforts. The chosen verse for today, Isaiah 41:10, provides solace and strength in the face of adversity. It reminds us that even in the darkest moments, God is with us, offering His strength, help, and support. In the wake of the Baltimore Key Bridge incident, we turn to this verse to find comfort and inspiration. God calls us to lean on Him, to trust in His guidance and protection, and to offer prayers of hope and healing for all those affected by the tragedy. As we unite in prayer and support, let us remember that God is our refuge and our fortress, always present in times of trouble.
