John 7:28

Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

Bebe's interpretation
The only person sent from heaven who did what no one else ever did and will ever do was Jesus. He came with a mandate – a distinct assignment to save mankind. Every other being that has ever been sent to the earth has never had the potential to save man.
When Jesus came, he didn’t only come to die and restore a broken relationship but also to teach us how to maintain the relationship. And why do we count Him trustworthy? It is because we see in Him something we have never seen before. Beyond the wonders and miracles, we see a superior way of life that was unquestionable by any standard. His ways were something out of this world, as He rightly was. He was sent by God from above to show us something new.
We needed to know that One who made the heavens and the earth from the beginning. We needed to have an understanding of His character and what was truly demanded of us. To stop us from throwing punches in the dark, Christ came as the light. He brightens our paths and opens our eyes to see His glory.
Now, we know the Father because we have known the Son. We have seen Him, who was sent from heaven, the true expression of God’s glorious divinity. We must follow Him.
