Bebe's interpretation
Before Moses, God did not provide many specific laws for humanity, yet sin existed among people. Humans were born with a sinful nature and engaged in actions such as lying, stealing, murder, and adultery, even though they were not breaking God's written commands. Despite not committing sins in direct violation of God's laws, they still faced the consequences of Adam's sin, including death.
Many people consider this act of God to be unjust and unfair. However, there is no way for us to fully comprehend God's wisdom and ways. In His infinite wisdom, God knew that sinful man and his fallen prodigy could not act justly, love mercy, walk humbly, or live in total dependence on Him on their own. Therefore, God decided in His wisdom to create Jesus Christ who would be able to impute His righteousness to all who believe in Him.
Adam, the first man, was created from the dust of the earth, whereas the Second Man, Jesus Christ, is from heaven and currently sits at the right hand of the Father in power and glory. Those who believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God will be saved.
