Hebrews 1:8
Hebrews 1:8
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
This verse highlights the superiority of Jesus over the angels. It states that Jesus is God's Son and that through Him, God created the universe. Jesus is not just a messenger sent by God, but He is the incarnate God, the source of all life and the one by whom all things were made. It emphasizes the importance of Jesus as our Lord and savior and the fact that He is above all other beings. During the time of the writing of Hebrews, society was consumed with a dangerous and ungodly fascination with angels, and this obsession has continued to affect our world to this day. This is why a substantial portion of Hebrews aims to expose this error and establish Christ as the rightful heir of everything - through whom the universe was created. It can be seen from Psalm 45 that the heavenly throne of Jesus has been established. We are hereby proclaimed the eternal sovereignty of Jesus. In the hands of Jesus, lies the unique crown of righteousness, and in the future, when Christ is all in all, the eternal kingdom will be established.
1 Corinthians 10:4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
1 Peter 2:4
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
Hebrews 2:1

1 Peter 1:20
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
