Psalms 103:19
Psalms 103:19
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven and from there He governs all things. His faithful love extends to the heavens, His faithfulness reaches to the skies. He is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, rich in love. He does not always accuse us, nor does He harbor His anger forever. He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve, nor does He repay us according to our iniquities. The Throne of God is established on the foundation of righteousness, and His sovereignty is sustained by His unwavering love and compassion. This powerful seat of authority is a symbol of glory, grace, and the exercise of divine power and control, reflecting the magnificent majesty of God throughout the heavens. The psalmist David exalts the rule of God over the kingdom of men, praising the Lord for establishing His throne in heaven and His kingdom ruling over all. David expresses his unwavering trust in the Lord's power to save and deliver, relying on God's faithfulness to fulfill His covenant promises. This psalm serves as a powerful declaration of David's confidence in the sovereignty of God and a challenge to satanic forces.
