1 John 4:12
1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
The Bible states that no one has ever seen the true form of God in His glory. Nonetheless, God has put eternity in the hearts of men. He also put the knowledge of His existence in everything we see around us. They remind us that there is a Maker – a Creator – and in as much as atheists argue the existence of God, that’s a slippery path leading nowhere but “destructoville”. One way we know to experience the reality of God as described in the Scriptures, is that we manifest love. God is love and whoever lives in love would have seen God in a manner of speaking. Love is divine. It’s one of the most difficult possibilities for the fallen man. Jesus didn’t leave us with many commands, but one of the most important to note is the command to love each other. Love is not limited to the feelings of bliss and hemorrhage of emotions we express only when the next person is pleasant to us. Love is hard work and we must engage the strength of God to even walk this path. For God to abide in us, we must love one another. It takes practice to love and perfect love. With God’s help, however, love is possible as long as we allow the Spirit dwell in us and entirely lead us on every matter.
1 John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.
Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Romans 12:10
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
