Hebrews 11:7
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Have you ever been instructed to embark on a task or do something without being given full details or the purpose of the instruction? Have you had to blindly follow a command or an order without knowing why? Our world keeps evolving, and humans are becoming increasingly curious and inquisitive. The younger generation especially wants to know the why behind everything. They question and demand answers to any strange phenomenon. The seeing-is-believing principle resonates with us since we interact with the physical world. To interact with the invisible world, especially the realm of God, however, requires faith. This kind of faith has to do with total reliance on a God we cannot see, believing that He exists, and being convinced beyond reasonable doubt that He is who He says and can do what He promised. Humanly speaking, it seems foolish to follow the orders of someone you cannot see. But we see from the examples in Scripture that those who obey the instructions of God and trust Him blindly enjoy the blessings that He has promised. We cannot have a relationship with God without faith. It is required for our salvation and deliverance. We stand with God in Christ Jesus in the heavenly places because of our faith. Will you trust God a little more in your needs and follow His instructions?
Zephaniah 3:15
The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy.
2 Chronicles 32:7
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or discouraged because of them, for there is a greater power with us than with him.
Psalms 60:12
With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
Isaiah 41:13
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
