Philippians 2:14
Philippians 2:14
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
If there’s one thing that we humans are good at, it’s complaining. If you want, you can find anything to complain about. Let’s face it; in a world that’s riddled with sin, there is an endless list of things that we can murmur about and feel dissatisfied with. However, that’s not how we are called to live as people of Christ. Nonbelievers don’t believe that God exists, and the only testament that they have of His character is how it is shown through the Christians that are around them. If the Christians who are around them only grumble, murmur, and complain about the world all the time, just like unbelievers, why should they believe that God exists? Therefore, we should live and act in a way that demonstrates the hope we possess. We should be people of hope, people of optimism, and people who do all things without murmurings and disputings. People should see God in the outlook that we have on the world. Next time you feel like complaining, remember that God holds all things in His hand. Nothing is going on in your life or in the world that God is not sovereign over. He will work all things out in the end.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Psalm 34:17
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
