1 Corinthians 10:4
1 Corinthians 10:4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
As a believer, what is the foundation of your faith in God? Why are you seeking God? In today’s church, people seem to have diverse reasons as the basis of their beliefs. Our choice to live a Christ-like life is based on the object of our faith. Many believers come into the fold seeking solutions to their many life problems. They seek God for miracles; for them, God is a means to an end. Another category is those who believe in God for who He is and not just what He can do. The children of Israel dealt with God first-hand and heard Him speak. He was present with them in the cloud that went ahead of them. He performed many miracles just to prove and reveal Himself to them. He showed them that He alone is sufficient and reliable to take care of their needs and ease away their worries. There are countless deliverance encounters in the Bible that God has brought to His people, but they seem unsatisfied. While they enjoyed God's goodness, they did not believe Him enough, especially during challenging times. Today’s church is presently in the prophetic era of God doing extraordinary works in the midst of His people. We have the presence of God abiding within us in the person of the Holy Spirit. It is important not to trivialize the work of God around us but to focus on the God who did the work.

Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
1 Peter 2:4
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
