1 John 5:2
1 John 5:2
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
It can be easy to love those who are close to us or those who we agree with, but as followers of Christ, we are called to love all of our brothers and sisters in Christ, regardless of our differences. This kind of love is not based on our feelings but on our obedience to God's commandments. When we love others with the love of Christ, we are demonstrating His love to the world. We are a reflection of His grace, mercy, and forgiveness. In a world that is often marked by division, hatred, and conflict, our love can be a powerful testimony to the transformative power of Christ's love. May we seek to love others as Christ loves us, with a love that is sacrificial, unconditional, and overflowing. May we also seek to obey His commandments, knowing that our love for Him is expressed through our obedience. May our love for God and His children be a light in the darkness, and may it point others to the love and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Hebrews 2:4
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Ephesians 5:33
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
