Acts 13:38
Acts 13:38
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
In Acts 13:38, we see the message of salvation preached by Paul to a group of people in Antioch. He declares, "Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus, the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you." The message of forgiveness is a powerful one. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but through Jesus Christ, we have been given a way to be reconciled to God. It is only through Him that we can receive forgiveness and be made new. It's important to remember that forgiveness is not something that we can earn or achieve on our own. It is a gift that God offers to us freely through His Son, Jesus Christ. All we need to do is accept that gift and place our faith in Him. As we walk through this life, we will undoubtedly make mistakes and fall short of God's perfect standard. But we can take comfort in the fact that we have a loving Savior who has already paid the price for our sins. When we confess our sins to Him and turn away from them, He is faithful and just to forgive us (1 John 1:9). Let us take hold of the message of forgiveness that Paul proclaimed and cling to the hope that we have in Christ. Turn to Him for forgiveness and renewal, knowing that He is always ready and willing to extend His grace and love to us.
