Bebe's interpretation
Have you heard people ask this idiomatic question: What makes the world go round? People are often curious about what is essential for the perfect functioning of things. Typically, the response to this question is that money makes the world go round, implying that the most important thing in life is to have money since it solves almost everything. People all over the world are in a constant race to make more money to solve their needs, but even with an increase in the number of multimillionaires, evil still thrives in the world, and nothing seems to be in order. Money cannot solve the problems of mankind nor put an end to the evil in the world.
The greatest force that can make the world a better and more habitable place for all is love. It is capable of bringing humanity together and putting an end to what money cannot do. As believers, it is important to know that regardless of what we are or have, love is the most important. It is good to have spiritual gifts and to exercise them since they are for the edification of the body of Christ. However, if these gifts are not used in love, we will not profit in the venture of winning souls to God’s kingdom. Our faith in God’s promises and our hope in the fulfillment of His word are incomplete if we don’t have the love of God. Additionally, the world will not remember us for the amount of wealth we amass, but acts of love will surely outlive us when we are no longer here.
As a child of God, in all that you do, remember to live in love.
