Bebe's interpretation
When we come to Christ, we experience a profound transformation. The old life we used to live, full of sin, is replaced with a new one that is centered on righteousness and holiness. We are no longer defined by our past mistakes or our old way of life. Instead, we are made new and given a fresh start.
As believers, we are called to live a life that is different from the world around us. We are called to be set apart and to pursue holiness. This means letting go of our old way of life and embracing the new life that we have in Christ. Letting go of our old way of life can be a difficult and painful process. We may have to give up relationships, habits, or beliefs that have been a part of our lives for a long time. But when we let go of these things, we make room for God to work in our lives and bring about true transformation.
When we become new creations in Christ, we are given a new identity and a new purpose. We are no longer defined by our past but by our present and future in Christ. We are called to live a life that reflects this new identity and to pursue the purpose that God has for us.
So let us embrace the new life that we have in Christ and let go of anything that holds us back from fully living in His love and grace. May we be transformed by the renewing of our minds and live a life that is pleasing to Him.
