Matthew 28:19
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Our mission as disciples was clearly explained by Jesus in this verse. The Great Commission was given to the Church by the Lord to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are all called to be Christ's followers, to learn from Him, and grow in our faith. True disciples of Christ are believers who are learning about Christ and growing in grace - believers who are being washed in the water of the Word, striving for their upward call in Jesus, and maturing in their faith. Let us all strive to become true disciples of Christ as we learn more about Him every day. When we walk in Him, let our natural desire to share with those around us the wonderful love that we have for Jesus Christ and the salvation that can be attained by believing in Him.
Psalms 107:2
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!.
1 Corinthians 9:22
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
