Proverbs 3:5
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
The verse indicates that God knows the way, and we do not. In certain situations when we can't figure things out on our own, we just need to trust in Jesus as our Lord of all the accidents and incidents of life, with all our heart. Choosing to follow the Lord with all of our hearts is not only a positive and beneficial duty but also eliminates all elements of fear and doubt from our lives. It allows us to stand firm in the storms of life, and it replaces self-confidence with a belief that is only found in God. As we trust the Lord with all our hearts, we put aside our own desires and imaginations to serve Him according to His will, and we live by the knowledge that His Word is both complete and perfect. Our little ways, limited minds, and foolish imaginations are so far from God's ways and thoughts, yet so often, we choose our fleshly wisdom and scant understanding to guide us. This is not correct. Let us trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and He will be our source of confidence, protecting us from any kind of panic or sudden storm in our lives.
Jeremiah 17:7
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Psalms 37:5
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 56:11
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
