Matthew 24:14
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
In John 16:5–7, Jesus described difficult times that await those who follow Him after He leaves the earth. His words have pointed to a time of intense persecution, death, and hatred for anyone associated with the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus also prophesied that the gospel would be proclaimed throughout the world in this verse. It would come to an end. It means that He will return as a king and judge. The Church today has been called to preach the gospel of God's grace. It is a message that has been faithfully proclaimed for more than 2000 years. We will continue to preach this message to this lost and dying world until Jesus returns in the clouds to take us to be with Him. This gospel proclaims that Christ has died to cover the sins of the whole world, has risen from the dead, and sits at the right hand of God so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Until the end of the Church age, the gospel of grace will continue to be spread. At that time, the gospel of the Kingdom will once again be proclaimed throughout the world. The gospel of God's grace will continue to be preached until the end, never ceasing.
Matthew 10:7
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
1 Corinthians 1:17
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel.
Psalm 96:3
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
1 Corinthians 9:22
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
