1 John 2:5
1 John 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
Obedience to God’s Word is the true expression of love. This verse reminds us that when we obey God’s commands, we demonstrate our love for Him. Love for God is not just an emotional response; it is shown through action. By following His Word, we align ourselves with His will and allow His love to be perfected in us. As we walk in obedience, we grow in grace, forgiveness, and healing, and our love for God becomes more complete. This obedience is not burdensome but is a natural response to God’s love for us. Through it, we experience deeper intimacy with Him and reflect His character to the world.

1 John 5:1
