1 John 3:20
1 John 3:20
For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows everything.
In moments when our hearts feel heavy with condemnation, it’s comforting to know that there is a greater love that understands our struggles. This love does not look at our failures with judgment but with compassion. It is a reminder that our worth is not defined by our missteps but by our inherent value. Knowing that we are seen, even in our imperfections, offers a sense of reassurance that we are not alone in our journey. This love reaches beyond our self-doubt, encouraging us to rise above the limitations we may place on ourselves. We are not condemned to remain in our shortcomings but are given the grace to grow beyond them. In this understanding, we find the strength to forgive ourselves and the courage to move forward. This journey of self-compassion is one that transforms our lives, allowing us to live without the weight of guilt and to embrace the fullness of love that surrounds us. We are reminded that each moment is an opportunity to live in alignment with a love that sees us for who we truly are.
Psalm 51:3
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
Psalm 86:5
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
2 Corinthians 7:10
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Psalm 32:5
I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, I will confess my transgressions.
