Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. This verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:24 assures us that the God who calls us into His purpose is faithful and will complete the work He has begun in us. Birthdays are a good time to reflect on the journey God has taken us on. How has He been faithful in the past year, fulfilling His promises and guiding our steps? The calling of God is not only a call to salvation but also to purpose, and His faithfulness ensures that He will equip us to fulfill it. We can trust that He will complete the work He has started, even when challenges arise. As we look forward to another year, let us be encouraged by the certainty of God’s faithfulness. He will continue to be with us, leading, providing, and helping us to walk in the calling He has given us.
