2 Corinthians 4:14
2 Corinthians 4:14
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
This verse is a powerful declaration of God’s promise to raise believers to eternal life. Just as God raised Jesus from the dead, He will also raise up all those who belong to Him. This resurrection is not just spiritual, but physical, as God promises to give believers new, imperishable bodies. This passage assures us that death is not the end; it is a temporary separation that will be fully reversed at the resurrection. God’s promise to raise us up speaks to His power over death and His commitment to fulfilling His promises. For believers, the resurrection is not a distant hope, but a certain future reality. It encourages us to live in light of this promise, knowing that our earthly struggles and sufferings are temporary and will be transformed in the eternal life to come.
John 14:2
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Romans 5:14
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.
Romans 14:8
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
