2 Samuel 22:4
2 Samuel 22:4
I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Calling on the Lord in times of distress is a powerful reminder of His ability to deliver and protect us. This verse affirms that God is worthy of praise, not only for His greatness but for His role as our protector. When we call upon God, we are recognizing His authority and trustworthiness to save us from our enemies, whether those enemies are external or internal struggles. Praise is not just about adoration; it is also an act of faith, as we express our trust in God’s ability to rescue and deliver us. The worship of God, especially in times of trial, becomes an act of proclamation, declaring that He is our refuge and strength. Through praise, we affirm that God is our salvation and that His protection is always present. This verse encourages us to continually call on God, remembering that He is always worthy of praise and that His protection is sure, no matter what challenges we face.
