2 Timothy 2:13
2 Timothy 2:13
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
This verse highlights God's faithfulness, even when human faith falters. In times of doubt or wavering belief, God’s commitment to His promises remains steadfast. His nature is unchanging; He cannot deny Himself or turn back on His word. This truth is a profound comfort for believers, as it assures us that God’s love and faithfulness are not contingent on our own faithfulness. His grace persists, supporting and uplifting us even when we struggle with doubt. This verse encourages us to rest in the knowledge that God’s reliability is the foundation of our faith. When our own strength fails, we can rely on His unshakeable character. This assurance fosters a deep trust in His promises, reinforcing the truth that God is always faithful to those who seek Him. His constancy invites us to grow in our own faith, knowing that He is a dependable refuge and source of hope in every season of life. Through His enduring faithfulness, we find strength and encouragement, confident that He will fulfill all He has promised.
