2 Timothy 2:22
2 Timothy 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Youthful passions and desires can lead teens down paths that are harmful, but this verse offers a better way: to flee from those passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. It’s not enough to simply resist temptation; we must actively pursue the things of God. Righteousness, faith, love, and peace are not just ideals but practical goals that teens can strive for every day. When they focus on these virtues, they create a life that reflects the character of Christ. Pursuing these things requires intentional effort, but God promises to guide and strengthen teens as they walk this path. By turning away from harmful desires and focusing on God’s righteousness, teens can live a life that honors Him.

Isaiah 40:30
Even youths shall faint and be weary, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength.
Ecclesiastes 11:9
Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth.
