Acts 17:28
Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
In this verse, we are reminded that our very existence is tied to God. "In Him we live, and move, and have our being" speaks to the reality that God is the source of all life and purpose. Our identity is found not in what we do or achieve but in our relationship with God. We are created to live in Him, and it is only through Him that we find true meaning and fulfillment. This verse emphasizes the interconnectedness between God and His creation. Without God, we are nothing; in Him, we find our purpose, direction, and value. This truth should humble us and remind us that our lives are not our own. We were created for His glory, and our existence finds its true meaning when we align our lives with His will. Our identity is shaped by our relationship with God, and when we live in Him, we experience the fullness of life.

You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
