Colossians 1:19
Colossians 1:19
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.
In Jesus Christ, the fullness of God dwells in bodily form. This verse affirms the doctrine of the Incarnation, where Jesus, though fully human, was also fully divine. The fullness of God refers to the complete and total expression of God’s nature, which is found in Jesus. He is not a mere reflection of God, but He is God Himself, embodying all of God’s attributes. The presence of God in Christ is a mystery and a miracle—God, in His fullness, took on human form and lived among us. Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God to humanity, showing us what God is like in a tangible, personal way. Through Jesus, we come to understand the heart of God and experience His love, grace, and truth in ways that were not possible before His coming.
Genesis 1:2
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Colossians 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:.
John 1:18
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.
1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
