Colossians 4:3
Colossians 4:3
Pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word.
Paul requests prayer for opportunities to preach the gospel, specifically asking that God would open doors for the message. Prayer is a powerful tool in evangelism, and it is essential for the success of the mission. Without God’s intervention, the hearts of people remain closed to the gospel, and opportunities may be missed. Prayer invites God’s help in opening doors, softening hearts, and preparing people to receive the message of salvation. We must not only pray for ourselves as we share the gospel but also pray for others who are actively spreading the word. God is the one who prepares the way and provides opportunities for His word to be heard. By praying for these opportunities, we align ourselves with God’s mission and participate in His work of bringing the gospel to the world.

2 Timothy 4:2

Psalms 107:2

Matthew 28:19
