Deuteronomy 12:18
Deuteronomy 12:18
And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all that you undertake.
A thankful heart is a joyful heart. This verse highlights the importance of gratitude in the life of a believer. Gratitude is a powerful source of joy, as it shifts our focus from what is lacking to what we have been given. When we express our thanks to God, we invite His presence into our lives, filling us with peace and joy. As leaders, it is important to lead by example, showing others the value of gratitude and teaching them to cultivate thankful hearts. Thanksgiving leads to joy, and joy leads to a deeper relationship with God. By focusing on all that God has done for us, we are filled with a renewed sense of joy and purpose. Thankfulness turns our hearts toward God, reminding us of His goodness and faithfulness. As we lead with gratitude, we help others develop a joyful heart that is anchored in God’s love and provision.
