Deuteronomy 8:18
Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
This verse reminds us that every ability and blessing, including wealth, comes from God. He is the ultimate source of provision, and it is by His power that we achieve success and prosperity. Recognizing this truth encourages humility, gratitude, and a sense of stewardship. When we remember that all we have is a gift from God, we are more likely to use our resources in ways that honor Him. This awareness transforms our relationship with wealth, allowing us to see it not as a possession to be hoarded, but as a tool for furthering God’s kingdom. By giving thanks and using wealth responsibly, we align our lives with His purpose and experience a deeper fulfillment. Wealth becomes a means to bless others and bring glory to God, fostering a heart of generosity and a legacy of faith. Such a perspective brings lasting joy, as we remember that true power and provision come from the Lord, who faithfully supplies all our needs.
