Ecclesiastes 3:17
Ecclesiastes 3:17
For God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
The promise of a just judgment for both the righteous and the wicked assures us of a fairness that transcends human understanding. This perspective calls us to trust that ultimately, all deeds—good or ill—will be accounted for in a way that is both just and true. This knowledge encourages us to live with a sense of purpose, knowing that each action matters, whether it is seen or unseen. It inspires us to pursue a life of integrity, to act in ways that align with compassion, and to fulfill our unique purpose with a heart devoted to kindness and truth. By choosing righteousness, we become participants in a justice that upholds peace and fosters community. This assurance of judgment encourages us to respect the journey of others, understanding that our own actions are what define us. Let us strive to live a life marked by kindness, understanding that in doing so, we contribute to a world grounded in respect and mutual care. May we find comfort in the promise of justice, living with a spirit that seeks what is good and true, and leaving behind a legacy that reflects our values.
