Ecclesiastes 7:12
Ecclesiastes 7:12
For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 offers valuable insight: “For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.” This verse tells us that while wealth can provide temporary security, wisdom is far superior in its ability to protect and preserve us. Money may provide material comforts, but it cannot save us from the deeper dangers of life—spiritual emptiness, moral failure, or a broken relationship with God. Wisdom, however, gives life. It brings peace to the soul and helps us make decisions that lead to spiritual and emotional wholeness. In difficult times, wisdom guides us in how to navigate trials with strength and grace. It is a shield for the heart and a light for our path.

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
