Ephesians 4:11
Ephesians 4:11
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
God, in His wisdom, appoints leaders and teachers to guide His people, equipping them for service. The apostles, prophets, and shepherds are gifts to the church, each one called to serve with dedication and love. Their roles are integral to nurturing the faith of others, building a community grounded in truth. This verse encourages us to recognize the value of spiritual leadership, understanding that each role is divinely ordained. When we support and respect those whom God has called, we honor His wisdom and provision. The church flourishes when each member contributes, united in purpose and service. Let us be grateful for the leaders God has placed in our lives, praying for their strength and guidance. May we also seek to serve faithfully, using our gifts to uplift and encourage one another. In doing so, we reflect the unity and love that Christ desires for His body, the church.
1 Corinthians 12:4
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.
John 1:16
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Romans 12:6
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith.
1 Corinthians 1:7
Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
