Ephesians 6:11
Ephesians 6:11
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
The Christian life is a spiritual battle, and God has equipped us with His armor to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. This verse calls us to take up the full armor of God, which includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and the shoes of peace. Each piece of armor is essential for protecting ourselves spiritually, guarding our hearts and minds, and enabling us to fight against temptation and evil. When we put on the full armor of God, we are choosing to rely on His strength and wisdom rather than our own. This armor is a powerful reminder that we are not in this fight alone; God’s power and protection are always with us. With His armor, we can stand strong, resist temptation, and persevere in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Embracing God’s armor allows us to be courageous, rooted in His truth and love.
Psalm 119:37
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:12
So if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall.
James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
