Esther 2:17
Esther 2:17
Then the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight.
Esther’s rise to favor and prominence is a testament to how God works behind the scenes to elevate His chosen ones. She found favor with the king, a favor that changed the course of her life and the lives of many others. But it was not only her outward beauty that won the king’s heart—it was God’s providence at work in her life. Just as God favored Esther, He shows favor to those who are obedient, humble, and aligned with His will. Favor is often an unexpected gift, not based on our merit, but on God’s grace. The favor Esther received wasn’t just for her own benefit; it was for a greater purpose—to deliver her people. Similarly, when we experience favor from God, it often carries a larger, divine purpose that goes beyond our immediate needs. God’s favor places us in positions of influence to fulfill His purposes, sometimes in ways we could never have imagined. When we remain faithful to Him, He opens doors of favor that lead to opportunities to bless others and fulfill His plan for our lives. Favor from God is not just for personal gain but for the advancement of His kingdom.
