Exodus 15:2
Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
The Lord as strength and defense is a powerful truth for believers facing adversities. Knowing that God is both their source of strength and their protector provides immense comfort and confidence. This dual role of God as savior and defender means that believers have a secure refuge in Him. When trials come, they can lean on His strength, knowing that He not only sustains them but also shields them from harm. This understanding transforms fear into faith, as believers rest in the knowledge that God is actively involved in their lives. His defense is not just about physical safety but encompasses emotional and spiritual protection. With God as their defense, believers can face any situation with courage, knowing they are secure in His care. This trust in God’s protection brings peace, allowing them to walk in faith and face challenges with a confident heart, assured that their salvation is secure in Him.
Galatians 5:7
You were running a good race Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth.
Proverbs 4:27
Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
Ecclesiastes 9:11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Psalms 119:32
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
