Galatians 4:4
Galatians 4:4
But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.
But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. The birth of Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s perfect timing in the history of the world. Jesus was born at just the right moment in history, at the precise moment when God’s plan of salvation was ready to unfold. His birth marks the beginning of the fulfillment of many prophecies, as He came to live under the law, to fulfill the law, and to bring salvation to all who would believe. This verse highlights the incredible love and purpose of God in sending His Son into the world. Jesus came not as a conquering king but as a humble servant, born in a manger, to a simple family, and to a world that was waiting for redemption. His arrival marked the fulfillment of God’s promise to restore His people, and through His life, death, and resurrection, He offered salvation to all.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Luke 2:16
And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
