Genesis 2:9
Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.
In this verse, we see the intimate care and thoughtfulness of God in His creation. He has made every tree to be pleasing to the eye and good for food. This speaks to the beauty and usefulness of God’s provision. The trees are not just functional; they also bring joy and delight. They represent the balance of beauty and utility in God's design. It’s a reminder that God is concerned with both the aesthetics of life and our practical needs. His creation reflects His heart—a God who provides generously for our physical needs and delights in beauty. Just as the trees are pleasant to the sight and good for food, so too does God provide in our lives, bringing beauty and nourishment in every season. He fills our lives with things that satisfy, strengthen, and sustain us, meeting both our needs and desires.
Genesis 1:12
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Isaiah 1:30
You shall be like an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.
Revelation 7:1
I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds.
Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
