Genesis 3:17
Genesis 3:17
Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
This verse illustrates the cooperative efforts required in growth, while reminding us that only God brings about the increase. We can plant and water, but it is God who gives the increase. In the pursuit of health, weight loss, or any personal growth, this truth remains foundational: our efforts, though important, are not sufficient on their own. It’s God who empowers our actions and brings about the results. This verse encourages us to do our part—whether through exercise, healthy eating, or discipline—while recognizing that our success ultimately depends on God’s provision and timing. Let this verse inspire us to work diligently, trusting that as we plant seeds of good habits and water them with persistence, God will bring the increase. Through His grace and strength, we will experience growth, transformation, and success in alignment with His will.
Isaiah 2:4
They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Matthew 13:38
The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom.
Matthew 13:24
The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
Haggai 1:6
You have sown much, and harvested little. You eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have.
