Hebrews 10:30
Hebrews 10:30
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
The call for justice and forgiveness reveals a balance between patience and the certainty of judgment. This inspiration reminds us that while we may seek justice, ultimate judgment belongs to a higher authority. This understanding frees us from the burden of retaliation, teaching us to trust in a justice that is patient and fair. It challenges us to exercise forgiveness, recognizing that vengeance is not ours to claim. This perspective encourages a heart that is patient, waiting for justice to prevail in its due time. It is a call to release anger and embrace a peace that trusts in righteous judgment. May we learn to relinquish our desire for vengeance, choosing instead to walk in forgiveness and understanding, knowing that justice will be served in the right time and in the right way. This approach brings peace and freedom, allowing us to live without bitterness or resentment. Let us embrace this call to justice and forgiveness, finding comfort in the knowledge that all wrongs will be made right by a wisdom greater than our own.
Psalm 7:11
God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day against the wicked.
Psalms 7:9
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Nahum 1:2
The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath.
