Hebrews 12:5
Hebrews 12:5
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:.
Hebrews 12:5-6 says, “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him.” This exhortation calls us to remember that God’s correction is not a sign of His displeasure but a sign of His love. The process of being rebuked and corrected by God can be painful, but it is necessary for our spiritual development. When we endure correction with a humble heart, we allow God to shape us into His image. Instead of resenting discipline, we should accept it with gratitude, knowing that it is for our good and leads to greater maturity in our faith.

Proverbs 13:24

Psalm 94:12

Hebrews 12:7
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
